ABOUT WEKAF GB

The World Eskrima Kali Arnis Federation was created in August 1989 as an international collaboration, creating a recognised and universal sports format for Filipino Martial Arts. Today, WEKAF International operates as the governing body for branches in over 32 countries.

WEKAF GB has had the honour of being involved in the project since its infancy, and has a proud heritage of producing some of the most successful athletes in WEKAF history. To date, the GB team has produced the highest yield per athlete of any WEKAF country, solidifying its position as a premier contender.

Using sport to unite and serve the Filipino Martial Arts community is a primary goal of WEKAF GB. With this in mind, WEKAF GB strives to create opportunities for athletes - young and old - in hope that they may enjoy the benefits of the sport at both a national and international level.
